PR Consultant Cathy Riordan set up PR Wise in January 2009. Prior to setting up PR Wise, she was Associate Director at Heneghan PR for three years. During that time she handled accounts including 3 Ireland, Bitbuzz, IrishJobs.ie, Motorola, National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE) Ireland and saongroup.com.

Previous to that, she held the position of Account Director at Park Communications where she worked between 1999 and 2005. Her client portfolio included Epson Ireland, IBM Ireland, Motorola and IrishJobs.ie.

Between 1996 and 1999, Cathy held the position of communications officer at the office of Green MEP Nuala Ahern, in Ireland and Brussels. She lead the successful communications campaign to get Nuala Ahern reelected in the 1999 European elections.

Cathy Riordan holds a BA in Economics and French and an MA from University College Dublin.

Before joining PR Wise as Director with roles in finance and event management, Dee Murnane provided financial management consultancy to SME's for eight years.

Previous to that, Dee worked in the Liss Ard Lake Lodge, Cork, for 18 months where responsibilities included event management for creative workshops and concerts with international musicians, VIP entertainment and corporate hospitality.

Between 1995 and 1997 Dee acted as PA to Nuala Fennell, then chief executive of Political Communications Ltd., a political research and lobbying firm and worked in public relations with Park Communications, a sister company.

She holds a BSc Hons in Business Studies from GMIT (Galway and Mayo Institute of Technology) and is a qualified financial investment advisor (QFA).

Corporate PR expert Sean O'Riordain offers 30 years experience in the industry previously handling clients such as The Mater Private Hospital, SmithKline, Society of the Irish Motor Industry, Sky, IBM, McDonalds, Motorola, Nutricia, Stena Line and Costa Line.

Sean founded Park Communications in 1979 and developed the company into one of Ireland's top ten full service consultancies. He sold the firm in 2006 and is now Corporate PR consultant for PR Wise.

Before starting Park Communications, Sean was a Director of Wilson Hartnell O'Reilly, Ireland's leading PR agency following a merger with Micheal O'Reilly & Associates, the leading Irish Corporate Public Relations consultancy. Previous to that, Sean worked as a publicity officer for Bord Na Móna , the Irish Peat Development Authority, a position he moved to from Gael Linn (National Agency for the promotion of the Irish Language).

At Gael Linn, Sean held the position of education officer where he was responsible for organising SLOGADH (a national youth festival) and EACHTRA (an adventure course for students in the west of Ireland).

Sean is a Commerce graduate of University College Dublin.

Paula Thomas has seventeen years experience in sales and marketing both in Ireland and internationally. Her career spans a wide variety of sectors, including travel, technology and recruitment, working for international blue chip brands such as British Airways and ebookers.com, as well as leading Irish companies such as Pigsback.com.

Paula works with companies that require online marketing support and do not have sufficient online or internet marketing expertise internally. With a firm commitment to measurable, cost-effective marketing, Paula specialises in helping companies generate profit using effective online strategies.

She works across all sectors to advise, implement and manage online marketing and digital projects for profitable growth. Services include Google Adword campaign management, search engine optimisation, banner advertising development, affiliate management and online/digital strategy development.

Paula is currently studying an MBA at Smurfit Business School, having won a scholarship award from Image magazine, and was also a Marketing Strategist of the Year finalist in the 2003 Irish National Sales & Marketing Awards.
